Fractional Resurfacing is used to:
-Improve the sun-damaged blemishes
-Smooth fine lines and wrinkles
-Shrink appearance of pours
-Fill in acne scars
-Blend uneven pigmentation
How it works:
Tiny beams of light penetrate the skin causing microscopic perforations. The
surrounding tissue initiates a healing process stimulating growth of collagen. As
the collagen remodels, the skin tightens and scars improve or old sunspots
disappear.
What does it feel like:
After a treatment the skin feels tender, slightly flushed, or as if it were sunburn.
With prescription cream this improves over a few days and after several weeks the
skin has a younger and more radiant appearance.
How much downtime?
The downtime can be discussed with your technician, it can range from one to a
couple of days. The more mild the treatment the more treatments you might need. Make an appointment to discuss your needs!
